Ananda Yoga for Higher Awareness is an inward, balanced approach to Hatha Yoga with emphasis on the physical, mental and spiritual benefits.
Our approach emphasizes dynamic relaxation through the various postures, combined with breathing techniques and mental focus. The result is physical rejuvenation, mental clarity and a deeper sense of inner peace.
Classes are suitable for all levels. Wear comfortable clothing.

Yoga Sampler is a new class being offered at Ananda Dallas and is taught by certified Ananda Yoga instructor, Mike Wolverton.This class series gives you the experience of Joy by combining the three key practices of Self-Realization.
Practice Number 1) Yogananda's Energization Exercises: You will learn to move inner energy from each joint and muscle to the brain, providing a release of tension and a feeling of magnetized energy
.Practice Number 2) Ananda Yoga® for All Levels with Affirmations: You will enjoy safe stretching exercise, while affirming your highest potential, providing an uplifting experience of inner energy
.Practice Number 3) Guided Meditation: After preparing the body, mind and spirit with the first two practices, a brief meditation comes easily. This aids mental clarity, improves emotional well-being and awakens inner joy.
Call the Center to preregister or just arrive a little early to get situated prior to class. Blankets and pillows are provided. Yoga mats and straps are optional

Restorative Yoga Workshop
Saturday, February 7, 10:00 am – 12: 30 pm
Cost: $30 in advance, $35 at the door
Pre-registration required.
No previous experience is needed to enjoy this "Bubble Bath" of Yoga. Using the support of blankets and props, the body releases stress and experiences deeper states of peace and relaxation. Enjoy and unwind with 2-1/2 hours of blissful yoga postures!
